The Fashion Styling course is aimed at all those who want to specialize and deepen their skills on style.

The program includes the study of styles belonging to the various categories of clothing, from haute couture to ready-to-wear to sportswear.

The student will have to learn to predict trends through research, study and analysis of fashion collections around the world to create complete looks, accompanied by accessories. He will also have to make the product visible, attractive and indispensable, both for showroom sales, for fashion shows, fairs and all events in the sector. Will have to acquire skills for the preparation of points of sale, the construction of fashion shows, catalogs and shop windows.

At the end of the course the student will be able to offer editorial advice for publication in specialized fashion magazines, support the work of the designer in the research and proposal of innovative looks and aesthetic solutions. You will also be able to collaborate in casting and artistic direction for those areas where creative intervention is required.

The course also includes a series of meetings with famous photographers, stylists, magazines and fashion agencies, offered byIstituto di Moda Burgo (IMB) & Istituto Italiano di Fotografia (IIF)

• Basic knowledge of photographic techniques also with telephones and Ipad
• Basic knowledge of a graphics program such as Adobe or Illustrator, who does not have the basic knowledge can follow the afternoon course
Required equipment:
• Portable with installed graphics program, possibly photoshop and illustrator

The course in Fashion Styling offers a broad, deep, and specialized vision of all the essential elements to identify a style. Fashion styling has acquired over time a fundamental role as a support to the designer’s work, helping him to propose new aesthetic solutions. The stylist is an indispensable professional to create fashion shows, catalogs, shop windows and outfitting points of sale. In addition, he collaborates with each season on publications in magazines specialized in fashion.
During the course, once the aesthetic cultural baggage has been enriched, the practical aspects will begin to be explored, starting from the creation of identifiable styles, in luxury, in sport and in various sectors, ending with the creation of looks, which adapt to the needs of each area.
We will then take a closer look at the ability to predict trends, to analyze the themes of the collections, to define editorial proposals designed for the specialized press.
